Our Mobilizing Sessions...

1) "Hosting a SHARE Event - Sharing the Gospel Within Reach of Local Gay Communities" - Bill shares his faith story (20 Min), outlines the FOTOS Vision (20 Min) and then casts a vision for sharing the Gospel within reach of a local homosexual community of your church or ministry (30 Min). This session concludes with Q&A (30 Min).  (approximately 1 Hr 45 Min)  

3) "Implementing a HEALing Ministry - Healing as a Core Ministry Program at Your Church" - Bill shares his faith story (20 Min), outlines the FOTOS Vision (20 Min) and then casts a vision for implementing a Healing Ministry at your church that address the needs of men and women, homosexual and heterosexual (30 Min). This session concludes with Q&A (30 Min).  (approximately 1 Hr 45 Min)  

6) "A Biblical Apologetic - Does Jesus Address Homosexuality?" - Liberal pastors and theologians say Jesus approves of homosexuality. Some even go so far as to say He was gay. Even many evangelical pastors often preach from the pulpit, "Jesus did not say anything about homosexuality". But the fact is...Jesus did address homosexuality! This is critical apologetic information for every Christian and Seeker. This intimate and comprehensive look into the teachings of Jesus Christ may surprise you. Evangelicals beware...there's something Jesus has to say to us as well. (approximately 1 Hr) 

7) "Comparing and Contrasting Gay and Biblical Theology" - This session covers a complete compare and contrast of Gay and Biblical Theology interpretation of: (i) the key Scriptures that Gay Theologians claim as positive affirmation of same-sex sexual relationships; and (ii) the key Scriptures that describe such relationships as sinful. This presentation will help you compassionately understand the inside worldview of homosexual theology. An insightful presentation that will equip you to relate better to homosexuals. (approximately 1 Hr)  

8) "A Special Message: On The Other Side of Homosexuality" - This session is designed especially for Senior High and/or College Age Students in your church or ministry. Bill shares the full range of his faith story from initial awareness of same-sex attractions to denial and repression to the coming out process and falling in love concluding with his eventual surrender to Christ and the blessings God has given him as he has followed Christ. This session is part of our Safe Families - Safe Churches Initiative and offers youth struggling with many different issues practical alternatives for bringing those difficulties into the healing, accepting and loving light of Christ. Great compassion and sensitivity transform your Youth ministry into a safe place where students can be "real" about their lives. Parent or Guardian authorization is required for students under 18 years of age. 9) "A Call to Parents and Pastors: Protecting Our Children" - This session issues a call for parents and pastors to work together to implement a Safe Family - Safe Church Initiative. Our children need to know that they are fully accepted and unconditionally loved at home and in our churches. (approximately 1 Hr) 

10) "Gay and Evangelical Voices: Two Viewpoints, One Dialogue" - This panelist session is specifically designed to yield mutually respectful sharing between the GLBT Community and Evangelicals. EVERYONE is welcome (including those who do not identify as Christian). This session allows panelists from all sides of the homosexual issue to share their own personal story. The Moderator then asks a series of questions. Finally, the audience is given time to ask their own questions. This highly interactive session has proven to bring a spirit of peace to an issue that often illicits anger and frustration. FOTOS defers the Moderator role to the GLBT Community. Our policy is simple: we offer this session only when invited to do so by the GLBT Community. (approx. 2 Hr)
